5/25/15 "The DOC" (BERNIE KOPELL) from "The LOVE BOAT @ USS IOWA,MEMORIAL DAY. He actually served on the Iowa back in the day,which is now a retired vessel & a permanent museum & used for special events here in the LA Harbor@ SanPedro,CA. That was fun seeing the doc (& his young wife Catrina). A few weeks ago I saw the Captain (Gaven McLeod) @ the LA Times bookfest; and on New Years Day the whole crew was together on a Rose Parade float. One thing I didn't realize until he said it today was that some parts of the episodes were filmed on actual cruises. They were literally cruising around the world as they filmed the show. But they also had a studio where the filmed parts of the show as well.
